The pasticceria business started in Milano in 1960 by Ennio Cosa, Alessandro's grandfather. The business continues to uphold its traditional family values and baking techniques over three generations. Alessandro started working with his dad's patisserie in 2012, he then traveled to London in 2014 to work and gain some experience. In 2018 back to Italy he opened Pasticceria Del Nonno, until he and his wife Martina Roazzi decided to expand their family business looking for new horizons and made the big decision to leave their home country for good and move abroad. They arrived in the UK in 2021 to open Pasticceria Di Leo in Bishops Stortford, in one of the most difficult moments because of the pandemic. Despite the circumstances, they worked really hard to make it possible, by selling online and allowing collection. Alessandro Di Leo is a professional pastry chef who has worked with some of the most well-renowned restaurants in London from 2014 to 2016. He and his wife Martina, work really hard with their little family around, and are eager to share the delectable taste and delightful traditions of the Italian culinary arts within the community of Bishop's Stortford.
